CMDHB, we have many roles crucial to delivering the highest possible
standard of healthcare to the people we serve in hospital and community
settings. We are extremely lucky to have dedicated teams of clinical
professionals working in multi-disciplinary teams.
We pride ourselves in having dedicated allied health
staff at all levels of the organisation. The Director of Allied Health
(DAH) has DHB-wide accountability for the leadership and strategic
direction for all allied health professions. Professional leaders
provide leadership for the profession and feedback and advice to the DAH
and other Senior Managers.
We offer varied career
opportunities for senior experience clinicians and rotational positions
for new graduates/junior therapists. We offer a comprehensive
orientation and induction to all new staff members and have
well-established in service programmes at both regional and
organisational levels. Opportunities to access funding for professional
development and research are also in place.
