CMDHB Overview
1. Demography

Counties Manukau DHB includes the territorial authorities (TAs) of Manukau City, Franklin District, and Papakura District.  Manukau City covers an area of 55,200 ha and is divided into seven wards: Pakuranga, Howick, Botany-Clevedon, Mangere, Otara, Manurewa and Papatoetoe.  For the purposes of this report Pakuranga and Howick have been combined, giving 8 areas in total.  Each area has its own distinct social geography, and health experience.  This series of reports summarises the demography of CMDHB each of these eight areas within CMDHB, along with health and health care usage indicators.  We compare across them and with CMDHB as a whole.  The first report takes CMDHB as a whole, then each area is examined in turn.  Each indicator is shown on a separate page for ease of use and updating.
